Much flexibility will be given, meaning that workshops can be held during regular periods, class teacher periods, assemblies or Civic and Moral Education lessons. Workshops may also be incorporated to post-examination activities, life-wide learning or community service sessions.

Understand the needs of elderly and learn to get along with them; Show love & care & non violent communication skills

To evaluate the needs from the elderly’s perspective, and to learn techniques on service planning so as to contribute to the society

To have a taste of the journey of aging and review on one’s values in order to set out plans for a meaningful and fruitful life

4. Elderly friendly community

To observe and reflect whether Hong Kong or our districts meet the World Health Organization’s 8 principles of being an ‘age-friendly city’

5. Elderly Poverty

To understand the financial difficulties faced by the elderly and how they are striving to live with dignity, and to have discussions on population and retirement protection policy
